Traditionally, any pension fund and it's members of Companies acquired by Imperial Tobacco Group, have been amalgamated into the Imperial Tobacco Pension Fund (ITPF). Given below is that list of Company Pension Funds:

The Canons Marsh Tobacco Bonds Pension Fund
The Finlay/Bewlay Pension Fund
The Robert Fletcher Pension Fund
The Imperial Foods Pension Scheme
The Imperial Retirement Benefits Scheme
The Imperial Distributors Pension Fund
The Rizla UK Limited Retirement Benefits Scheme
The St Anne Board Mill Company Pension Fund

FUND ADMINISTRATION:

Prior to the acquisition of the Company (ITG) by Hanson in 1986 ITG absorbed the cost of administering the Imperial Tobacco Pension Fund. Hanson's business philosophy saw things quite differently. Soon after 1986 the Company ceased to meet the cost of administering the Fund and these costs were met from the Fund's assets. Although the Company is now once again a separate entity this philosophy has not been reversed and the Fund still meets it's own running costs.

These costs are published in the detailed Annual Fund Report and total in excess of £1.5 million per annum. They include all office overheads including salaries, publishing costs, external fund investment costs and Trustee Board costs.

The Company do meet the costs arising from the twice yearly Pension Fund Consultative Committee (PFCC) meetings.
